A lot of firsts here –
first time in Ireland, first, sleep and breakfast, what
a delight! First-class food, accommodation and hospitality.
And to top it all off, we had the honour to be first to
sleep in your brand-new building. We enjoyed it all.
Best wishes, Terry and Doris Stephens, Warsaw,
Ontario, Canada What a lovely place to spend
the last week of our holiday. The cottages are beautiful
inside and out. A relaxing and peaceful atmosphere –
exactly what the doctor ordered for a stressed-out teacher
and her long-suffering sister!!!
Friendly proprietors, wonderful welcome, entertaining
pets – especially Blacky! You can be sure that we
will be recommending this place to friends and family
both in England and Ireland. Best wishes – we hope
to be back.

Well, we made it back – we said we would! We just
can’t get enough of the scenery and peace and quiet.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Hope to see you again next
year.
Best wishes, Sharon / Carole Lawless, Crawley,
West Sussex, England
Had a lovely time – very relaxing and comfortable.
The surrounding area is beautiful and Mount Brandon Cottages
are an ideal base from which to explore. Would love to
return in the future.
The Coughlan family, Monasterevin.
We are heading back to Dublin tomorrow and there’s
no doubt, we will miss the enjoyable and tranquil stay
we had in Mount Brandon, with the beautiful scenery and
peaceful sounds we woke up to every morning
Keith and Aisling, Dublin
In a village that claims to be “Ireland’s
best-kept secret”, it was great to stay at another
best-kept secret. Skeough was a delight to enjoy playing
a game of fetch.
Best regards, the Doyle family, New York, USA
We have had a great holiday in Graig. Our accommodation
has been first class. A home from home. A lovely location
with beautiful scenery. We will tell all our friends about
it. Thanks for everything.
McLoughlin family, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Thanks for a really good time, great relaxation and enjoyment.
The house is really perfect and very clean which is very
important to us, and thank you personally for your professionalism
and kind hospitality. The little touches really do make
a difference. We’ll be back.
Best wishes, Amanda, Brendan, Barbara & Sean
Thank you for lovely, comfortable and clean accommodation.
We have a small stone building, which we plan to convert
into a self-catering cottage in a few years time. We hope
we can achieve as high a standard as you have.
Best wishes, Claire, Ray and baby, Blessington,
Co. Wicklow
My holiday in Mount Brandon:
The house that we stayed in was cool. I did not want to
go home. Your dog and your cat are nice and friendly.
Thank you very much for my stay. Hope to see you again.

We love the houses and the garden. What is the “big
altar” for? We tried to sacrifice my sister, but
she ran away.
Sadhbh O’Sullivan, Dalkey
We love the house and its location. We’ve had some
great walks, enjoying the sounds of birdsong and the lapping
water along the banks of the canal, and have had a most
restful, relaxing week. I’ve a sneaking suspicion,
we will be back.

Well, if the above comments have made you curious, why
not come and see us. Do as Keats once said “Nothing
ever becomes real, till it is experienced.”
